Flag Football

The Capital City Bearcats provide an educational and safe environment for our future tackle football players. Our Flag Football Program is designed for children ages 5 – 6 years of age by July 31st of the current year.

*Children that are 4 years of age are permitted to participate with a parent waiver.

• Copy of a Certified Birth Certificate
  
• Athletic Medical Release Form (a recent well check may be substituted)
  
• Football Registration Form
  

Registration fees are $ 50.00 if paid in full before June 1. 
                                  $ 60.00 if paid June 1 - July 31.
After July 31, the fee is $70.00

Package includes:

• Game Jersey and Game shorts (the players will keep)
• Use of flags and belts
• Player Certification Fee
• Supplemental Insurance Coverage
  

Tackle Football

The Capital City Bearcats program provides a safe, fun, and competitive atmosphere for all of our tackle football players.  A tackle player consist of a child ages 7-12 as of July 31, of the current year. 

A child may be age 6 and play tackle if his/her parents signs a waiver (the Rookie coach will evaluate the player also). The Bearcat tackle program will strive to teach the fundamentals necessary for the child to have a safe, successful and fun career as a Capital City Bearcat. 

Tackle Football Registration Requirements

• Copy of a Certified Birth Certificate
• Athletic Medical Release Form (a recent well check may be substituted)
• Football Registration Form

• Rookie Football Players   ages 7-8
• Junior Football Players  ages 9-10
• Senior Football Playersages 11-12

Registration fees are $ 100.00 if paid in full before June 1.  
                                  $ 115.00 if paid June 1 - July 31.
After July 31 the fee is $125.00

Package includes:

• Game Jersey/Pants (the players will keep their game jerseys at seasons end)
• Use of Equipment (Helmets w/chinstraps, Shoulder Pads, Thigh/Knee/Side/Pads)
• Player Certification Fee
• Supplemental Insurance Coverage
• Each player will also be issued one mouthpiece (addtnl mouthpieces will be $1)

Each tackle football player will need a football practice jersey, football practice pants, and a pair of football cleats. These items are not supplied by the Capital City Bearcats.
