The Capital City Bearcats Cheer Program is a positive, safe learning environment for the spirited child. We educate children about the fundamentals of cheer and dance in a fun atmosphere. Each season, the Capital City Bearcats Cheer Program will participate in an area competition. Cheerleading builds character and great leadership skills. Capital City Bearcats Cheer Program strives to develop the Champions and Leaders of tomorrow.

Cheerleading Registration Requirements

• Copy of a Certified Birth Certificate
• Athletic Medical Release Form (a recent well check may be substituted)
• Cheerleading Registration Form

Cheerleaders will be placed in to the following divisions based on there age as of July 31, of the current year.

• Mini Cheer - ages 6 and under 
• Mega Cheer - ages 8 and under 
• Youth Cheer - ages 10 and under 
• Senior Cheer - ages 12 and under 

Registration fees are $ 150.00 for new cheeleaders

Registration fees for returning cheeleaders $100 plus any items that need to be replaced.

Megaphones, extra pairs of socks, warm ups (pants and jackets) and an extra uniform.

All cheerleaders planning to cheer in the 2010 season must be registered and paid by August 14th. The cheer fitting for uniforms will be held on August 4th and 9th toward the end of practice.   Each cheerleader must be present at this fitting or have already made special arrangements with the cheer coordinator.
